In collaboration with We Are loyd and U'Kno Tha Don, our gallery will serve as a space for healing and spirited conversations, informed by real-world challenges and activism in NYC and beyond. Featuring a Pop-Up exhibition showcasing works by leading creatives and live musical performances by U Kno Tha Don and more.
We Are Floyd Organization is dedicated to serving the culture through leadership and service based in New York City. Our focus is to be instrumental in supporting the cultural advancement of our communities; helping minorities dealing with mental health, poverty, police brutality, and social injustice; and most importantly giving our youth and young adults in the community hope in our future. Our aim in accomplishing these goals is to continue our outreach through community activities and social involvement.
U’KNO tha Don”, born in the beautiful island of Trinidad & Tobago was raised in the streets of Crown Heights Brooklyn, NYC. With a diverse and enriched background U'KNO has always been surrounded by beauty, creativity, culture and the hustle. U'KNO’s rich life experiences has helped mold him into the unique, multi-talented artist you see today. He uses a combination of Hip-Hop, R&B, and Reggae as his influences, creating a refreshing true to self-sound; in hopes of influencing others to remain true to their craft.U'Kno composes songs and create jingles for major brand with an unique twist and has had the honor and opportunity to collaborate with major brands such as Sperry, Superdry, Roscato wine, Lolea Sangria, Crocs, Champion Pizza and Spike Lee's Defend-Brooklyn clothing line to name a few. Recently created a theme song for We are Floyd movement. His goal is to introduce to the world a new and profound outlook on commercial brands, music visuals and songs movement. Something special, something authentic, something catchy and something captivating.
