BGX x Hook Arts Media

BGX is hosting two events to raise funds for Hook Arts Media, both hosted by BGX Founder Kamau Ware who is a Board Member for Hook Arts Media. 

Events:

• Hook Arts Media Mixer | Wednesday April 10th 7-9pm
• BGX Salon | Saturday April 13th 5-8pm

The Hook Arts Media Mixer will be a reception introducing young media makers from Hook Arts Media to professionals in the film and content creation industry. Proceeds benefit Hook Arts Media educational programs.

The BGX Salon will be a curated evening of conversations stimulated after a Sarah's Fire walk followed by lite refreshments. This experience is limited to 20 people and for donations of $100 or more using the above link.

Black Gotham Experience: Black Gotham Experience (BGX) is an award winning creative intervention that elevates the impact of the African Diaspora. We establish space to revisit untold and suppressed stories through a practice that invites people to walk, talk, and reimagine the past to expand public consciousness. We know that history is not an unbiased collection of records but a cycle of events that we participate in collectively. We are creatives building intentional experiences at the intersection of aesthetics and scholarship to learn, heal, and remember together.
