The United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) has partnered with the Black Gotham Experience (BGX) for a collaborative exhibition Flowering Freedom: Ending Violence Against Women & Girls. We had a private opening on December 11th and are delighted to invite you to the closing of our exhibition at Black Gotham Experience on Thursday January, 11th 2024 from 6:00 p.m. at 192 Front St, NY.

This global exhibition is a pivotal component of UNFPA’s commemoration of this year’s 16 Days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence, as it showcases inspiring artwork of artists who collaborated with UNFPA Offices across the globe, using their artistic expression as a form of activism to bring an end to violence against women and girls. The exhibition is a UN inter-agency collaboration with UN Women, combining art and activism in a display of solidarity and demonstrating the power of  “artivism” within UNFPA’s comprehensive gender-based violence response.
