REMEMBERING TOGETHER

Black Gotham Experience (BGX) intersects aesthetics and scholarship to reimagine the African Diaspora as a unified epic story through historic walks, a graphic novel series, talks, and events. We build community by connecting people to powerful stories you can experience. We make culture by engaging our community to participate in the creation of Black histories that have been missing from the world’s memory. We remember together.

Our work depends on people that want to share experiences that are meaningful, enriching, and fun.

With BGX Membership, we extend our community by engaging directly with you. There are four membership types. All of them include (1) access to unique experiences through our network of collaborating organization, (2) invitations to special previews of exhibitions, talks, and conversations, (3) access to monthly membership events, and (4) connection to a dynamic nerdy network of people like yourself.
