Exploring the influence of the Harlem Renaissance on African Diasporic art, literature, and music, this event will focus on selected works from the current Met exhibition, The Harlem Renaissance and Transatlantic Modernism. We will screen an in-house interview between director of Clark Atlanta University Museum, Dr. Danielle K. Taylor and artist/BGX team member, Suede Hunte followed by our signature nerdy debrief, reflecting on the ongoing legacy of this transformative and ongoing Black Renaissance.
